The A ha moment comes on the very last page when the author reveals that she didn't read at all until she like everyone else and their dog discovered Fifty Shades of Grey She writes I read the whole series in three days Yes three books in three days as if it was some Olympic record Gurl on Goodreads that would be considered a reading slumpAnyway the best way to describe this novel is that it READS like it was written by someone who didn't read at all until she read 50SoG It's a straight sweet story of two college freshmen who fall in love fast with very little conflict The conflict consists of a misunderstanding that lasts all of 2 days and is resolved by text message Seriously what writer resolves a book's only misunderstanding by text message That's about as exciting and interesting as reading about bellybutton staringOh yeah an author didn't read at all until she read 50SoG

G for someone like Leah Bennett are slim to none When Matt starts showing an interest in Leah that goes beyond friendship she is dumbfounded and doesn’t believe it is possible – until one weekend that changes everything Will Matt and Leah’s popularity status get in the way of having a chance at a real relationship Or does status mean nothing when it comes to true lo. I received this book from the author in exchange for my honest reviewI have to say that I found this book really refreshing It was great to read about a Hero that was not your typical messed up man whore Matt was a down to earth guy who was looking for a real relationship He was not out to sleep with every bimbo in a 2 mile radius And Leah was just amazing She was smart and strong and funny She didn't let things get her down The story was really sweet Not a lot of drama or angst Just a nice tale of two people meeting in college and falling in love Matt really was a sweetheart who was handed a shit card looking for a better life And he found that with Leah The two were perfect for each other It is nice to read about characters that I feel that I relate to I loved the double epilogue at the end I love to read how characters turn out in the end It makes me nuts when there is no epilogue and we are left wondering what happens to the characters But to get two was awesome While the story flowed nicely I just wished that it was a little longer and some parts were a little in depths It would have been great to read a little of Matt's Pov I love getting into the Male mind lol But all in all this was a great and refreshing read I love Ashley Wilcox and will definitely read of her in the future

Waiting on Forever Forever #2Thletes are of no importance to her except for one Matthew Jacobs Matt is the starting wide receiver at SUNY Cortland the most wanted guy on campus and Leah’s best on Forever Forever PDFEPUB #196 friend Although Leah’s feelings toward Matt run deeper than just a friendship it is something she would never let be seen because the odds of someone like Matthew Jacobs goin. This is a uick cute predictabe read with an HEA uite a few suirmy eye roll inducing parts but that's almost to be expected with this type of book The writing for the most part is pretty good although it does get pretty juvenile at timesand then completley gross and TMI to the point of being unsexy and weird at others I did really like how the text messages between Matt Leah show up as graphics in the story I thought that was pretty cool And newI also really liked how the story wraps up with double epilogues and a complete happy ending as a stand alone Pretty refreshing with all the seuels and preuels and novellas and what not floating around to just read a story that ends when the book does All that being said I can't give this book than three stars because of my own internal rating system Although I really do appreciate being given an ARC and I do think Ashley Wilcox has the potential to write a best seller someday I just don't think this is it For starters this is just complete predictable fluff with no real substance Maybe that's what the author is going for here I don't know If that's the case she hit the nail on the head I'm just saying for me to give a book a 4 or 5 star rating there's got to be something to itmaybe just feeling There's hardly any character development here either There are a few parts in the story that have the potential to become that sort of angsty emotional thing that kinda makes a great book so great but they're handled in such a fluffy and unbelievable way that any angst that does develop uickly fizzles And the story is told in a first person present tense voice which is extremely hard to pull off amd get right It just doesn't uite work for these types of stories IMO Anyways while this is by no means the worst book I've ever read its definitely not the greatest either I actually did enjoy reading it cringe worthy moments and all but its definitely not going to ever be a favorite or a re read Like I mentioned I do think with a little work and imagination Ashley Wilcox has the potential to produce something great
