I loved Just Ella this authors first book and I was excited when I saw this one come out Her books take off right from the start and throw you into a world of Princesses and the men they fall in love with This book was very enjoyable and filled with lots of fun tension Her books have wrapped up nicely with lots of detail at the end to lead into another story of another sister and I hope that we will get to hear Lorraina's story next I am so excited to have found this author She has jumped to my top favorites with her two books These books are for 12 and up there is kissing and some violence but it is kept very clean Re read to my 15 and 13 years olds My 15 year old loved it but my 13 year olds said it had way too much romance and not enough action I would categorize this book with Sarah Eden or Julianne Donaldson But I must say I LOVED reading it again It is just the sweetest book

“You don’t know who I am” I whispered He didn’t move either away from me or closer and after an interminable moment I stepped back and hurried out of the houseHe didn’t follow me as I fled into the nightLylin is not used to being alone much less alone hurt and lost So when she is separa. 35I don’t know if my expectations were too high or maybe I just overanalyzed everything either way this just didn’t connect with me I liked the story and even liked the characters but something was just off I know a lot of people will enjoy it though so I think this is just a case of “it’s not you it’s me” I liked Lylin and it was fun getting her story She’s a sweet girl and easily likable however if I’m being honest she never really showed that she would actually make a good ueen IMO Maybe she was too mild or at times too timid for me She also seemed young and I just kept thinking I hope she is a lot older when she ends up taking over the thrown She has good ualities though; she’s loyal and doesn’t give up She does have strength and hopefully with time and experience she will make a good ueen I liked Rhys I thought he handled some things poorly like with his brother and with Lorriana I think I wanted him to fight for Lylin but he accepted his fate too easily At the same time he really didn’t know Lylin all that well but still view spoilerAfter returning home to her family Lylin soon realizes that Rhys her crush is actually betrothed to her sister the brat hide spoiler
